The VillaVedici-tuktuk didn't show up. We called a tuttuk ourselves and drove to the Villa Vedici for directions to the kitesurfbeach. The tuktuk driver took his instructions from the staff. After approximately 20 minutes we arrived at the beach. We have seen already some mud, but this was too much even for the tuktuk. We walked along past a rather grim fishing klong towards the seaboard. Mud everywhere and ankle-deep at least. Plenty of waste floating and laying around. The water was very murky and not appealing at all, probably due to the monsoon rains in the past days. The local villagers couldn't give the driver any further directions. We tried to phone the staff, but it wasn't answered. Disappointed we headed back into town. Maybe in the dry-season this might be a better spot for kiting. But we already have visited some excellent kitesurf-spots in SE-Asia with sandy white beaches and constant strong winds and assisting staff.
